Strategic Planning
Working with your Board of Directors and Senior Management, Long-Term Care Solutions of NY can assist in setting a path for the future. Where does the organization see itself in five years? What services should you be offering? Are there programs that are no longer viable? This is extremely important if a seasoned administrator is planning to retire. Boards should have a plan for the administrators’ departure and the onboarding of a replacement.
03
Temporary Administrator Services
One of the biggest challenges a facility faces is turnover in administrators. Long-Term Care Solutions of NY will provide supervision to an acting administrator and, if need be, assist the Board in the search process for a new leader.
02
Functionality of Management
Poor Department of Health surveys are sometimes due to a lack of knowledge and training on the part of staff. More often than not, that is only a symptom of a bigger problem. We will look at the root cause of the deficiencies. Often it is due to poor communication and at times management not providing adequate leadership. Long-Term Care Solutions of NY will provide recommendations involving systemic changes to correct long-standing issues identified as part of a comprehensive review by Long-Term Care Solutions of NY.
04
Identification of Fiscal Challenges
Skilled nursing facilities are facing unprecedented challenges in retaining fiscal viability. Staffing costs are rising while reimbursement is not. Long-Term Care Solutions of NY will identify what is driving your revenue and expenses. Is revenue being maximized, are accounts receivable at industry norms and are programs offered profitable and sustainable?
